DC-PCM: An Audio Packaging Proposal for D-Cinema
An effort to standardize the packaging of D-Cinema content for distribution is well underway within the SMPTE DC28 Technical Committee. Some work remains however, and the draft specifications currently do not meet some important criteria for the flexible and reliable distribution of D-Cinema sound essence. In this paper, we discuss these limitations and propose a method to address them.
