Crystal Image: Bridging the Gap between Cinematography and Digital Image Processing
The time-honored traditions of cinematography and the brash new frontiers of digital image processing use different tools, units of measurement and language. When the two disciplines meet in the production of special effects sequences, there is a need for a common ground. Crystal Image software provides a bridge between these worlds by providing an exact emulation of the Tiffen color and diffusion filters to the digital platform. The software uses the language of film to extend the art of cinematography into the digital realm.
