Recording of Digital Television
A happy circumstance brings our Review to open its columns today to a presentation of the EBU's work on digital television tape recording. In effect, during this month of October 1985 we are celebrating “Standards Day”, promoted by the ISO to make users of modern technologies more aware of the advantages of standardization. No better way could have been found for the EBU to celebrate this event, and to highlight its keen willingness to engage in this sort of activity, than to give an account of a successful feat of international standardization launched and overseen by the potential users themselves.
