Digital Video Recording—Some Experiments and Future Considerations
A digital VTR is expected to have a very high picture quality, which would enable multiple generation dubbing with virtually no picture impairment, and possibly at lower capital and running cost. Adjustment free circuits and a self-diagnosis system should also enable easier maintenance and higher reliability.
