Digital Video Processing—1980
The end objective of the engineering portion of the motion picture and television industries is to provide the tools for effective visual communication. Advances in engineering technology have brought the film and videotape media progressively closer together during the past decade. The digital technology of the 80s will make further and significant strides toward the eventual creation of one highly versatile electronic motion picture communications tool.
