An Overview of the ATSC Digital Television Standard
This paper provides an overview of the ATSC Digital Television (DTV) standard. The standard is based upon the Grand Alliance HDTV system, but has been extended to also include SDTV formats. This industry standard is currently under final consideration by the FCC for adoption as the approved method of DTV terrestrial broadcasting in the U.S.
