User's Experience with Type B “BCN Helical” Portable and Studio Editing VTR

We first became acquainted with the Bosch Fernseh BCN line after a demonstration in our New York Studios in mid-February 1977. We did everything we could to put them out of action, but failed. They were obviously rugged and simple to operate, and we were assured that they were reliable. At that time there were about 200 units in use around the world, but only a few in the U.S.
