Confidence Monitoring: Any Time, Any Way, Anywhere
Audio and video confidence monitoring has progressed beyond the simple analog world with the evolution of broadcast technology into digital baseband, compressed video, and IP distribution networks. — Modern broadcasters are looking for increased operational efficiency, often by not tying down broadcast engineers to a central monitoring station. With the emergence of sophisticated data networks, Wi-Fi infrastructures, 4G mobile access and the internet, it is now possible to monitor these critical signals remotely on phones, tablets and traditional PC's. — This paper describes the technology enabling this advanced remote monitoring application and discusses related operational and financial benefits.
