Live Production Media Data Compute Interchange

The live media production industry is on an inevitable albeit slow journey to fully compute-based workflows. To support compute-native live production applications, new open interfaces are required to facilitate the software application - software application interconnectivity. This paper and presentation outline the key requirements of such a solution, the current industry initiatives that are looking to influence and achieve this and then an example API that is already proven and able to demonstrate these key capabilities.
