Leveraging Video Services Management to Enhance Video Transport
The nature of video and audio transport for contribution is changing as users are demanding more flexibility and efficient use of wide-area network resources. We are moving from the static, point-to-point reality of the past to a highly dynamic world where set up and tear down of contribution services on demand is required to meet contribution needs that can change within minutes. A new approach is required to deliver managed video and audio services across fiber, SDH/SONET or IP networks for this new reality.
