Menu-Driven User Interfaces for Videographics

Many applications of digital computers in video production require smooth, flexible interactions between the user and the computer. Computer-assisted editing of videotape and the creation of videographics are cases in point. Although a keyboard or control panel is commonly employed as a user interface, interactive menus are frequently a more effective way to couple the operator to his task.
