Audio-Visual Devices: Capabilities and Needs

A survey of a cross section of educators and engineers indicates that because of the “piecemeal” evolution of today's audio-visual devices schools have not been able to make the effective use of audio-visual techniques that the state of the art permits. Faced with an ever-increasing number of students and the mushrooming expansion of knowledge, the schools must look to a systems approach to education — the integration of instructional materials.
