Getting the Imagination in Focus

On the opening day of the Society's 114th Technical Conference, 15 October, in New York, Walter A. Fallon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Eastman Kodak Company, gave this address enhanced with a four-screen audiovisual presentation. SMPTE President Byron Roudabush while introducing Mr. Fallon also described a special feature of the presentation, a sound-film clip from George Eastman's address to the Society of Motion Picture Engineers in 1930.
