The first rush of talking picture production is settling into a longer and steadier stride. We have revolutionized a great creative art and business to the end that it shall be a more expressive art and a better business. New methods to use new machines to secure new effects were thrust upon us hardly more than a year ago. It was the work of a good many days and nights as well to get on friendly terms of acquaintanceship with them.
