Advanced Television Broadcasting in a Digital Broadband Distribution Environment

Ian Oliver, Brian Holmes

Certain economic considerations of the distribution models, especially those likely to impact engineering design and capital expenditure decisions, are also addressed. It is concluded that broadcasters might best divest themselves from their signal-distribution roles.
