Measurement and Evaluation of Moiré in Magnetic Video Recording

Specifications for signal/moiré ratio for videotape recorders should be established in accordance with the perceptibility of moiré on the television screen. The results of experiments on moiré perceptibility are given, and the method used to measure PAL and SECAM signals is described.
