Time Code Error Correction Utilizing a Microprocessor
By correlating longitudinal time code and control track (or tach) videotape, positional errors are virtually eliminated in the editing system described here. A Motorola MC6802 microprocessor, hardware, and software are used. The method has been shown to be more practical and economical than other methods such as vertical interval time code.
