Motion Pictures

The 121st SMPTE Technical Conference, held at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles in October, was the largest and one of the most successful the Society has held to date. Two hundred delegates representing countries all over the world joined the U.S. and Canadian members and guests bringing the overall attendance to just under ten thousand. Those who attended had the opportunity to see and hear an outstanding papers program and to visit the largest equipment exhibit in the Society's history. An excellent report on tho 121st Conference is in the January 1980 issue of the Journal.
