Otto E. Mikkela

The Nordiska Film/TV Unionen was formed in 1962 as a forum for debate, advanced education, and an exchange of technical and practical experience. The Society has sections in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The members are organizations for film and television workers as well as institutions and private firms which are active within production and distribution of film and television. NFTU organizes conferences, seminars, symposiums and study courses, excursions, and journeys, and publishes reports. Its technical committee deals with standardization and publishes recommendations for Nordic countries. It is a society which tries to create cooperation between Nordic countries in the field of film and television.
