SMPTE Report: Film and Video: Options for Production
Since its inception, the SMPTE has played the dual role of mentor and mediator. By providing an open forum for the presentation and exchange of technical data, the Society's Hollywood Section fulfills its educational mandate, augments its monthly meetings, and provides an opportunity for professional interaction in a university setting.
