A Question of Balance: Design of Lightweight Camera Mountings
An engineering perspective on the design of lightweight pan and tilt heads for electronic news gathering (ENG) and electronic field production (EFP) applications is given. Included is an examination of the general requirements for TV camera mountings and the specific requirements for lightweight mountings, and of how these requirements are met in a new range of camera mountings for ENG and EFP.
