2017 Update from the Consumer Technology Association
The video industry is driving innovation on all fronts. Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 is being deployed in South Korea as the necessary parts of the standard become final published standards. On the web video side, a basket of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Moving Pictures Expert Group (MPEG) standards are coming together as the basis for future video streaming interoperability. These two areas are the impetus behind significant video standards activities at Consumer Technology Association (CTA). But first, what do consumers think of all this video technology?
