Building a Cognitive Data Management Strategy (and Why Doing So Is Suddenly So Important)

This paper looks at the drivers of, the requirements for, and the essential functionality of the cognitive data management strategy and how these principles may apply to media and entertainment (M&E) workflows. In addition, this paper will show how such a metadata-centric approach can help companies overcome data silos and enable information technology (IT) planners to take advantage of any storage technology without impacting users, or adding IT management complexity.
