If it is September, it must be time for the annual SMPTE Progress Report. In 2006, SMPTE restarted publication of an annual Progress Report in the Journal, highlighting work within the SMPTE Standards community and providing updates on the status of the industry at large. It is an important issue that provides our members with the latest developments in media technology. This year is no different.
